Have been here multiple times and would generally rate them as a 4 to 5. This past weekend a disaster. Service was slow. Food (eggs) came cold and one of dishes was inedible. The manager tried to make it up by comping some of the meals and remaking the order. Asked if we want more coffee while we waited. Food finally came in pieces and was still mediocre. Although comped us for some of food got charged for all the extra coffee while we were waiting !! Really Not a great experience and although we generally visit weekly will have to rethink that. Hope this was an off day.

Great food and service.
Sat at the bar which allowed me to interact with the chefs. I was not sure what I wanted and the chef gave me a little taster.
Settled for maple chicken and biscuits, kind of reminds of a chicken pot pie.
Yum, my new favourite brunch place.

Don't come here late on a Sunday for brunch, they run out of many options! I did get a chance to try the chicken and bacon cobbler. It is a great dish if you're looking for something warm and comforting! Decent portions and quite tasty. It came with a biscuit that was quite fluffy as well but I don't think it added too much to the dish.

The mains we had yesterday were excellent. It was the roast pork and beef. Good value at the price point. The service was great, helpful, funny, and personable. The wine list is medium, not too long, or too short. Our only quibble was a side of broccoli that wasn't charred, as advertised. That said, we would happily return for a casual and delicious dinner.

One late night we entered the Homer St Cafe not sure what to expect. It was a good decision. From the start the attention we received was so warm. and welcoming. While my other family members enjoyed the rotisserie chicken, I had the recommended trout which was delicious. We will remember the place for the the food but the service was beyond 5 stars.
