While visiting Vancouver our driver recommended this lovely seaside restaurant. We sat on the porch over the water which is exactly how we wanted to spend a relaxing sunny Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed views of the docks and fishing boats while enjoying an amazing choice of fresh oysters, cold beer and fish and chips. Highly recommended!

Darling little waterfront restaurant on the pier in Steveston. Great views. The food is very good & fairly priced for the quality. I am a regular. Living around the corner affords me the luxury of being able to nestle in here whenever I get a craving for a light Chardonnay & scrumptious treat. Blue Canoe is one of my faves in Steveston.

I have been going to the Blue Canoe for years and the food is always good. The service is usually excellent with the exception of a few times where the wait for the food to arrive was ridiculous with no communication from the servers. My husband and I went for diner last night around 7:30 we were seated and then no one ever came to take our drink order. My husband waved down one of the girls twice and nothing we were completely ignored. We ended up going to a close by restaurant where we were served quickly with decent food. Disappointed and not sure if this is the new norm for Blue Canoe.

Nice little restaurant, good view, good service. Unfortunately if you don’t eat seafood this is not the place for you. I ordered the burger and unfortunately it was not really good. Very dry and overcooked. Everyone else in my group had the fish and chips and they said it was delicious. The beer selection is good. On a Saturday night reservations are recommended.

Cute little restaurant. We had the famous fish and chips and the paella. So good! Nice patio area along the water. Service was a bit slow but I would recommend!
