I booked our work party (40 people) here, and we had a fantastic time! We enjoyed the Festival of the Lights in the gardens and then came to the restaurant for dinner. The food was superb and the service was absolutely incredible. The staff were so helpful and gracious with our group. Everyone had a really great time. In fact, my husband and I are planning another night out there soon, we enjoyed it all so much. Highly recommend a night of lights and then treating yourself to a wonderful dinner at Shaughnessy's! Fantastic place for a group outing!

Went for a Christmas party and will never be coming back. Our reservation was for 7 but we weren’t seated until 8pm. At that point they had an hour before the closed so they tried rushing us out.
My table ordered their drinks and when they arrived, most of the drinks were wrong. When we mentioned it, the older man serving us was extremely rude.
We were served six buns for a table of ten. The entrees all showed up at completely different times, so no one was fed at the same time. Not to mention the food was mediocre.
The only redeeming quality about this restaurant is the view.

Classy restaurant. Great setting. Reasonable prices. Waiter was great. Food was very nice. We were able to walk in and get a table without a reservation and we got a table next to the window.

The food, staff and view were excellent. A great place to bring children for an upscale lunch. The children had macaroni and cheese, we had the crab cake and butternut squash ravioli with prawns.

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, but that's the only thing you can say about it. I took my mother and some of her elderly friends here for afternoon tea here recently. The prices were shocking, for what you get: minuscule sandwiches and pastries that were rather mediocre. Perhaps for such prices you would expect good service? One of the guests asked for her tea to be hotter and stronger (why can't people who claim to serve afternoon tea actually make good tea?). We never saw the server again. Don't make this restaurant your afternoon tea destination.
