I am changing my review to 5 stars.
Originally a group of us had attended in April to celebrate a birthday and had an unfortunate negative experience. Since then we were contacted by Sean Collins the General Manager and we were invited back. I can honestly say that tonight Sean and the staff at Pier 7 have redeemed themselves and have more than made up for our previous experience. Tonight we were provided with an absolutely wonderful experience and enjoyed great drinks and meals. The service was top notch, everyone was attentive, the view out of this world (we literally had the best seat in the house) drinks and food were great. I also want to add that some of my favourites tonight were the sangrias both red and white, the Pinnacle cocktail and the mussels in spicy tomato sauce, best I've had in Vancouver.
A truly sincere thank you from all of us to Sean and all of the wonderful staff at Pier 7.

I have been coming to Pier 7 for just over a year - typically with my father, his partner, and my partner - and so it was natural for me to invite my very good friends from work for a birthday celebration. Although our experience for that specific event was not a positive one, we were invited back by management (thanks Sean!) to have a redo of our experience at Pier 7. I must say, our redo was one of the best restaurant experiences probably ever. Incredible service and top notch food and beverage. Thank you so much Sean and our server Hailey. I will certainly continue recommending Pier 7 and coming back again and again myself.

Have to say Amazing Views!!
Food is pretty good too.
Parking is included. Park at the nearby hotel and show the receipt to the server and get $12 deducted from the final bill. Really like this gesture from the restaurant.
-Recommended for dates as the patio offers mesmerizing views.
-group of 8 of us ordered such as fish and chips, veggie bowls, pastas and burgers. All turned out good.
-Try their fries during the Happy Hour, really good.
-Service is not the greatest for sure.
-Few TVs around for watching sports. We ended up watching the Raptors win Game 6 against the bucks.

Went for “happy hour bites”, beautiful view here, our waitress was attentive and efficient. $7. For 8 small wings, fish tacos minus a taco from the full order, mussels were tiny and less than 1/2 a full order anywhere I have every had them. Flavours were decent in all but you are left with a bad taste in your mouth when you go for happy hour at reduced rate and get a reduction in food. There was also a sign saying Caesar’s were $5 and was told it ends at 2pm. Why have a happy hour, maybe just have tiny portion, tiny price hour? All of this is not enjoyable and takes the HAPPY right out of things. It reminds me of another time I ordered a happy hour beer special somewhere else and actually got a half a beer? It’s just no way to do business. * the mussels is -4 in the picture .

The views are perfect here on a sunny day. I highly suggest you try to get a patio seat when you dine in if the weather is nice. The staff offered us seating option until a space opened which was nice. The food for the lunch special was fairly priced and tasted really good. It did take some time for the food to reach our table, so enjoy the views while you wait. Go have lunch here! The fish and chips are great and the salmon burger is a must.
