How can you tell if a restaurant is fantastic? When, despite the food being healthy, you enjoy it AND your 9 and 12 year old enjoy it. They loved it. The server was very attentive. They also do something awesome! They serve one of the few non-sweetened ice teas you can find in Vancouver (it is a matcha green iced tea). There can be a long wait, but at least when I ran into a long wait, they took my phone number to text me when my table was ready. It is near a bunch of fun stores, so I suggest thinking about the wait differently: It is an opportunity to spend time goofing around with your family (or date). I'll be back. Dang it, now I'm in the mood to go back today. Well, now I know where I'm having lunch.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait outside for some time. We were in a hurry so we didn't order any drinks but went for food immediately. I had Ramen earlier in New York and didn't like it so was a but apprehensive. However, this place was good the Ramen preparations we had were the ones with thin noodles and they were great. My wife had a vegetarian salad which was decent.

Exceptional service. Great to have big selection menu, it's rather a pub serving Japanese-style food over ramen shop.
It is fair on the pricey side for the downtown location/environment/service. But I was personally expecting a lot more on the food quality/authenticity for this price.

After a week in Japan and eating the best Ramen ever I was craving this amazing dish once again.
My waitress was phenomenal but the Ramen was okay. Nothing special. The fatty pork was well seasoned but the broth was really gross. Forgot what I had but for being the “best” ramen in Vancouver it was just okay. 🤷🏾♂️

I don't normally eat Japanese, but it was recommended by a friend. The young gentlemen at the bar was very personable. We liked him immediately. The food was different than I was used to. Good to try new things, but it gave me the runs.
