The view is unreal and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great, very Pacific Northwest. However we've been there a few times now and each time the food and/or service has been hit or miss.

We've been to this restaurant before the refurbishment, as we're local residents. My wife and I went there today for a lunch. It has great views, and the staff are really lovely, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered fish and chips, and the fish was really chewy, it had been deep fried too long. My wife ordered the poke bowl and that didn't taste too great, pretty boring and couldn't compare at all to what they sell at Lonsdale Quay. And that's just the point: This restaurant doesn't have any competition, and I feel it relies on tourists who will never return anyway, so quality and taste don't seem a concern. If there was competition around it, the food would be better, but today it wasn't. Great setting, pretty expensive price, nice drinks, but disappointing food. Oh, and they had the cheek to charge 50 cents for 3 teaspoons of soy sauce which my wife asked for, for her dry poke bowl! Oh, and the coffee shop has far too few tables in such a large space. Overall I think the old building was actually a lot better thought out. Hopefully the owners at least pay some attention to this.

amazing place to relax and chill!
I had coffee over here on a rainy day along with a donut and the service is really good.
The place is situated at nice spot so one can get amazing view of the Vancouver bridge and Stanley park itself
It turns into a colorful landscape in fall seas son!

One of the best spots in Stanley Park. There's a place to eat nearby with pretty good food. You also get a good view of the bridge and of the water. On the average day, you can enjoy watching boats sail by and airplanes fly overhead as you sit on a bench. Definitely don't miss this if you're in the park.

Going on a tour of Stanley park? This is a good place to stop for a snack and/or refreshments. The view is quite nice and the patio can accommodate a good amount of guest when the weather permits it. Friendly staff and great ambiance. I would consider this a touristy area.
