The Georgia Straight has named it the best All-you-can-eat sushi restaurant: I agree. Clean, tasty and in the same spot for a long time. My go-to place when I have visitors from out of town. Has vegetarian options, and some great sashimi. Better to make a reservation if you’re planning to go for a weekend’s lunch.

This place is absolutely delicious. The food quality was great and the taste was great. I would absolutely recommend this place and will be back the next time I'm in Canada.

The food is pretty good unlike their customer service. They're very serious about tips so make sure to tip them generously. The wait time is usually long so be there earlier as it can take 15-30 mins for them to give you a table. Overall, I recommend this place.

Shabusen used to be really good in quality, but not anymore. That being said, restaurant business is very difficult in Vancouver considering the high costs and consumers. I'm a person that would spend the extra dollar for a better food. Service is also very important. In service Shabusen falls in the middle. I recommend them to work on their service a little more.

Cool ambience and delicious food. However, I felt that the prices were more expensive then their competitors with similar quality of food. I would suggest that they slightly change their customer service for the better. Specifically, maintain queues, adhere to time commitments and not overbook the place e.g. in my case, I was seated much later (even though I had made a prior reservation) and had to come back and forth several times to check whether seats are available.
