It was a disappointment, the tacos were not very well balanced and lacked acidity or decent texture. For example the pork belly had two 1/2" cubes of pork belly, but they were very soggy and lacked meat or the expected crunchy texture. Additionally the tacos did not have sufficient filling for the price. The nachos were also lackluster with the cheese sauce being less appetizing than something you can get from the supermarket, it was grainy and flavorless. The tortilla chips themselves were okay, and the pickled onions were nice, however the sauces and other flavors are not sufficient to create a well-balanced nacho dish and the disappointing sauces made the nachos soggy very quickly. The service was average.

Surprisingly quiet brunch spot with simple but satisfying Americanized Mexican food. Great service and attractive setting. If Cafe Zen next door has a big brunch lineup on the weekend, opt for Lucky Taco instead as there’s never a wait.

Loving this new spot. Perfect for an easy feed with friends. Small and busy and a great atmosphere. Tacos are good quality and taste great. Location is perfect too. I don’t know why they’re lucky, but I’m in to it.
