Overall I loved this place. The food was full of nuance and flavour and everything blended seamlessly. Everything down to the garnish on the plate had flavour. The reason this only got 4 stars instead of 5 are easily fixed yet still very important. First, the plates to are too small not the portions the PLATES this made it very awkward to eat the portions. Second, the desserts missed the mark entirely. Other than that the place is great. And BEST Gin and Tonic. Period.

This place needs to be judged by the food, drinks and ambiance. Not by the negativity brought on by the name. There are hundreds of bars across North America with the same name. The food was fantastic, the drinks were thoughtful and delicious. The decor is sleek, cool and inviting. We sat at the bar and the bartender I believe is also an owner and he was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and knew when to bounce out of the convo, but also knew when to hang out with us. Great time here, wish we lived closer as we would be back as much as possible. Loved our experience here!

It's great to see a restaurant in Vancouver that isn't just serving Vancouver cuisine (kale salads, cauliflower, etc). The food is unique and amazing. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Highly recommend the compressed watermelon salad for is unique flavours. The bone marrow was also excellent and good quantity. Can't wait to come back
